A la date du vendredi, 13 contacts ont été recensés dans le
village de Temessadou.
L'homme qui serait mort du virus Marburg était un malade
mental et père de six enfants. Il avait été reçu par le chef du poste de santé le
02 août avant de rendre l'âme le lendemain.
Selon les diagnostics du chef du poste de santé, son patient
présentait des symptômes du paludisme accompagnés d'une hémorragie buccale.
Joint au téléphone, la directrice préfectorale de la santé
de Guéckédou affirme par ailleurs que la riposte s'organise et les décès
communautaires liés au COVID-19 sont strictement suivis ainsi que les
enterrements dignes et sécurisés par les agents de la Croix-Rouge.
