Après deux mois de sensibilisation que certains ont qualifié d'avertissement, les autorités communales de Ratoma, sous la direction du Gouvernorat de la ville de Conakry, sont passés à la vitesse supérieure. Depuis quatre jours maintenant, les opérations de déguerpissement sur les emprises de la corniche Nord, allant de Kipé jusqu'à Lambanyi-carrefour, se poursuivent.
Selon notre constat sur le terrain, des machines ont démoli
plusieurs maisons et autres encombrants physiques qui sont au-delà des limites
fixées.
Almamy Ibrahima Soumah, conseiller communal à la mairie de Ratoma,
regrette que les avertissements ne soient pas entendus par les citoyens
concernés. « Nous avons passé deux mois à sensibiliser. Fort
malheureusement, nous avons constaté qu’il y a toujours des citoyens qui
refusent d’enlever les encombrants. Par rapport au déguerpissement, nous avons
finalement décidé de commencer malgré leurs réticences. On n’a pas eu de problèmes depuis le début des
opérations. Mais, ça va se poursuivre. On est en train d’enlever des
containers, des baraquements sur les emprises de la voie publique », a-t-il
laissé entendre.
